1. Tourist visa	T1
Personnel Categories Tourist visa is issued to a visiting foreign national, who does not have the intention for employment. A foreign national visiting the Maldives on tourist visa will get 30 days from the date of entry. In order to extend Tourist Visa sponsorship declaration form should be submitted prior to arrival. Foreigner who overstays requires to pay a fine of Mrf 15000- 50000/-, or deportation by law. Maximum days granted – 90 days Tourist visa can be extended twice a year
Documents Required Application form (form IM23) Sponsorship Declaration form Passport size photo (recent, white background) Valid Passport If sponsored by a company the application form should be endorsed by the company, Expatriate Health Insurance, If sponsored by an individual, his/her Identity card copy, Confirm Return Ticket to the home country (upon request) Fee (Mrf 750/- per 3 months or part of 3 months)
